MECHANICAL BELT FASTENING SYSTEMS

A wide range of Mechanical Belt Fastening Systems that get your belts up and running fast and provide long-lasting performance for maximizing uptime.

SOLID PLATE FASTENERS
The Flexco® Bolt Solid Plate Fastening System produces a strong, sift-free splice with superior holding ability thanks to a combination of top-and-bottom plate compression and high-tensile-strength bolts.

BOLT HINGED FASTENING SYSTEM
The Flexco® Bolt Hinged Fastening System is ideal for belt conveyor applications subject to length adjustments because the joint can be separated easily by removing the hinge pin. A combination of penetration and compression delivers strength and reliability to belts operating over smaller pulleys.

RIVET SOLID PLATE FASTENING SYSTEM
The Flexco® Rivet Solid Plate Fastening System is recommended for high-tension applications, with a staggered, multiple-point attachment for a long-lasting hold. Ideal for use with straight-warped belts because rivets separate the fibers instead of displacing the carcass.

RIVET HINGED FASTENING SYSTEM
The Flexco® SR™ Rivet Hinged Fastening System is ideal for use on rubber-plied and PVC solid woven belting and for worn belts unfit for vulcanized splices, delivering performance and long life with easy installation.

XP™ STAPLE FASTENING SYSTEM
The Flexco® XP™ Staple Belt Fastening System combines an enhanced applicator tool with the longest wearing staple fastener and hinge pin on the market to produce a superior belt splice for tough mining environments.

STAPLE FASTENING SYSTEM
The Flexco® Staple Fastening System is ideal for mining operations that prefer a reliable, narrow-looped staple splice.

WIRE HOOK FASTENING SYSTEM
The Clipper® Wire Hook Fastening System is designed with a variety of different wire diameters, leg and point lengths, metals, strip lengths, and styles to meet your individual application needs.

G SERIES™ FASTENING SYSTEM
The Clipper® G Series™ Fastening System provides constant compression, resulting in a flat, uniform splice. The staggered-leg design with four alternating leg lengths deliver additional strength and durability to the finished splice.

LAUNDRY PATCH FASTENING SYSTEM
The Clipper® Laundry Patch Fastening System combines the binding of cotton laundry tapes and fastener installation into a single installation process that takes approximately 20 seconds.

STAPLE LACING FASTENING SYSTEM
The Alligator® Staple Fastening System is ideal for a wide variety of light- and medium-duty fastener applications. The system features one-piece fastener strips with pre inserted staples that speed installation and keep downtime to a minimum.

SPIRAL LACE FASTENING SYSTEM
The Alligator® Spiral Lace Fastening System is ideal for belt operations with small head pulleys that require both non-metallic and low-profile fasteners.

PLASTIC RIVET FASTENING SYSTEM
The Alligator® Plastic Rivet Fastening System produces a non-scratching, non-magnetic, quiet mechanically-applied splice that can be easily dismantled for installation, cleaning, and sanitation.

INSTALLATION TOOLS
We provide field tools such as belt lacers, wrenches, bolt breakers, punches, boring bits, and more for the easy installation of these fastening systems.

BELT MAINTENANCE TOOLS

How quickly you can repair a conveyor belt can mean the difference between hitting a deadline and falling just short. But you also want to keep your workers safe and make sure the repair lasts, so the conveyor belt maintenance tools you choose matter.

BELT CLAMPS
Avoid the problems and potential dangers associated with homemade devices with belt clamps designed to properly secure and clamp a belt for safe conveyor maintenance.

BELT CUTTERS
A properly squared belt discourages mis-tracking and splice failure, so utilizing a belt cutter that provides a straight cut is paramount to the splicing process. Flexco Belt Cutters minimize the danger of accidental injury during the belt cutting process
.

BELT LIFTERS
The Flex-Lifter™ Belt Lifter puts an end to pry bars and manual lifting, making a difficult and hazardous job easier and safer.

BELT SKIVERS
A skived belt helps extend splice life, ensure compatibility with belt cleaners with a lower profile, and creates a stronger splice. For a safe, easy way to remove belt top covers, choose the portable, lightweight FSK Belt Skiver.

OTHER MAINTENANCE TOOLS
Preparing your belt for safe repair allows you to work smarter, faster, and safer. Flexco has a variety of other maintenance tools to help you prepare your belt for installation and maintenance.

BELT ACCESSORIES

Conveyor belt accessories come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but all have the same goal – helping the conveyor belt move product more efficiently from one point to the other.

BELT CLEATS
Designed to improve incline conveying and material containment, our easy-to-install Tatch-A-Cleat® belt cleats, pegs, lugs, and V-guides can restore full carrying capacity to your incline or conveyor belts within minutes – without removing your belt from the conveyor.

HITCH GUARDS
Hitch Guards are engineered to provide a smooth transition of product over the conveyor hitch, preventing small objects from becoming lodged in the hitch, which can cause longitudinal conveyor belt tears, damage to conveyed products, and costly periods of unscheduled downtime. Designed to permit individual segments to release from the support bar, objects are quickly dislodged while remaining segments stay secured for continued operation.

SEGMENTED TRANSFER PLATES
Segmented Transfer Plates from Flexco can help prevent product loss at the transfer point, preventing potential damage to the product as well as the belt and conveyor structure. Segmented Transfer Plates provide smooth transition from one belt to another, from belt to chute, or from belt to structure.

BELT CLEANERS
An integral part of your belt conveyor system because of their ability to remove carryback from your belt. Carryback is a leading issue on many conveyors, requiring frequent clean-up while wearing our conveyor components prematurely and causing other conveying problems like belt mistracking. Reducing carryback can improve worker safety, increase operating efficiency, and enhance productivity.

BELT POSITIONERS & TRACKERS
Sometimes the cause of the mis-tracking is preventable, and even repairable, and other times, you simply have to find a way to redirect the belt. Conveyor belt tracking devices help get a mis-tracking conveyor belt back on track. There are a two different types of conveyor tracking systems that work best: Belt Positioner – A belt positioner is used when a conveyor belt mis-tracks to one side of the belt. It is placed on the return side of the belt and features fixed rollers that direct the belt into the correct path. Belt Trainer – A belt trainer uses a variety of methods, including tapered ends, sensor rollers, and even pivoting and tilting mechanisms to steer belts that are wandering to both sides back on track.

PULLEY LAGGING
Conveyor pulley lagging is an essential part of a belt conveyor system, protecting the pulley and ensuring that there is proper friction between the pulley and the conveyor belt. When a pulley is not properly lagged, you can experience belt slippage and even increased belt wear.

CONVEYOR LOAD ZONE SOLUTIONS
There are several load point solutions available to help you ensure your belt is continually supported and spillage and dust generation are things of the past, including: Slider and Impact Beds – Slider beds and impact beds offer conveyor belt protection and material containment by controlling acceleration, deadening impact energy, reducing damaging vibrations, and extending belt life. Skirting Systems – Skirting systems create an effective seal at the load point, ideally without damaging the top cover of the belt, to discourage spillage and dust release.
